Inspired by the presidential campaign of Governor Howard Dean, Democracy For Houston (DFH) serves as a political action committee dedicated to supporting fiscally responsible, socially progressive Democratic candidates and issues at all levels of government. DFH has a long term goal to help rebuild the Democratic Party from the bottom up.

The DFH Executive Steering Committee will take all requests for endorsement under advisement. The DFH-ESC will notify its membership of any potential endorsements according to the guidelines of the DFH Constitution and ByLaws.
